Gus Dehni, DMD, MMSc, MSc is a Periodontist with extensive experience in periodontal regeneration, implant dentistry, and advanced reconstructive procedures.
Dr. Dehni received his Specialty Certificate in Periodontology and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and his Master of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from the Harvard Faculty of Medicine. He also earned a Master of Neurological Sciences from McGill University.
With more than 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Dehni is widely recognized for his expertise in:
- Bone and gum regeneration
- Reconstructive bone grafting procedures
- Laser-assisted periodontal therapy
- Management of complex dental implant cases
His clinical philosophy centers on preserving natural teeth whenever possible through advanced regenerative therapies designed to restore bone, gum support, function, and long-term oral health. He is highly experienced in rebuilding compromised implant and natural tooth sites and achieving optimal esthetic and functional outcomes in challenging cases.
Dr. Dehni has a special interest in the use of next-generation growth factors, biologic materials, and advanced regenerative technologies to enhance healing and tissue regeneration. Dr. Dehni remains deeply involved in academia, currently serving as an active member of the Board of Fellows of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he was formerly a clinical instructor in the Division of Periodontology. Since 1990, Dr. Dehni has published numerous scientific articles in leading medical journals on topics such as facial bone, skeletal, and neuronal formation.
Recently, Dr. Dehni founded Vyker Sports, a performance technology company focused on developing novel, globally patented cushioning and energy-return technologies for sports performance, walking comfort, and joint protection.
