Dr. Gus Dehni, DMD, MMSc is a Periodontist who received his Specialty in Periodontology and Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Harvard University. He also obtained a Masters of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from the Harvard Faculty of Medicine and a Masters of Neurological Sciences from the Montreal Neurological Institute at McGill University.
Since 1990, Dr. Dehni has published numerous scientific articles in leading medical journals on topics such as facial bone, skeletal, and neuronal formation. In 2000, while at Children’s Hospital in Boston, Dr. Dehni and colleagues obtained patents on molecules involved in new bone formation and treating the spread of cancer. He is a former clinical instructor in the Division of Periodontology at Harvard (2000–2001) and serves on the Board of Fellows of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Dehni is a member of the Southeastern District Society, the American Dental Society, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Academy of Periodontology.
